Automobiles in German Town Found Marked with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Law Enforcement
Police reported they were contacted by a resident who noticed a vehicle in Hanau smeared with red-colored substance

Roughly fifty cars have been smeared with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Vehicles, building surfaces and postboxes were vandalized, sometimes with Nazi symbols, they announced in a statement.

Police report they were alerted late on Wednesday evening, when a individual observed that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been covered with a reddish fluid.

The liquid had been drawn in the pattern of a banned symbol, they stated.

Police then located many other marked automobiles and residential walls in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany under legislation outlawing the public exhibition of Nazi symbols.

Law enforcement state preliminary tests show the liquid was probably human bodily fluid.

"There is still no indication as to its origin; officials are presently not cognizant of any physical harm in association with the event," they stated.

City officials announced they were working "to unravel the incident" and have asked to the public for details.

A senior representative commented the attack left him speechless and had to be solved promptly.

"This event affects the very heart of Hanau and reopens the trauma of the far-right terrorist attack five years ago," he stated on online, recalling the killing of nine people by a assailant targeting individuals of migrant background in five years prior.
